Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and Pajama Day!

On Friday, January 15th, the PC and CC girls celebrated the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in their pajamas! For two weeks, our girls worked on creating totems that represent the crowd members who listened to Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." speech. They also discussed the importance of peace and friendship in our society. During the assembly, the students marched on the Ridgeview field like Dr. King's followers. Then, we all went to the PC classroom where the PC girls sang a song about Dr. King, while the CC girls read the signs and poems they created in honor of the Civil Rights Movement. Here are some pictures of our girls at the assembly!
